We stayed for a week with our two children and couldn't have asked for a better location. The rooftop terrace became our favourite spot for evening meals while watching the sunset over the castle. The Old Town location meant we could walk everywhere—no need for a car. Sarah was incredibly responsive and even arranged a crib for our youngest. Already planning our return visit!
As a couple who loves authentic travel experiences, Casa Castillo exceeded our expectations. The townhouse maintains its traditional Andalusian character while offering everything you need for a comfortable stay. We cooked fresh seafood from the nearby market on the rooftop BBQ twice! The four bedrooms gave us flexibility to host friends who joined us for a weekend.
Bringing together three generations (grandparents, parents, and kids) is never easy, but this house made it seamless. The layout offers privacy when needed and beautiful shared spaces for family dinners. My parents loved the easy access to the historic centre without any hills to climb. The kids declared the rooftop 'the best fort ever.' Thank you for unforgettable memories!
We used Casa Castillo as our home base while exploring the region. Day trips to Ronda, Gibraltar, and Estepona were all manageable, yet we loved returning to the peaceful Old Town each evening. The house is beautifully furnished and the kitchen has everything you need. Minor note: the stairs are steep (typical for historic townhouses) which might be challenging for very young toddlers.
